Prenatal Classes: 
In Revelstoke, prenatal classes are offered through Okanagan College.

Prenatal Complete Series
Consists of eight classroom hours plus a hospital tour.  Topics covered include labour and delivery, interventions and complications, postpartum for mother and baby, breastfeeding and newborn care. Financial assistance is available if needed– please inquire with receptionist.

Trousse Bébé Francophone is a welcome package for expecting parents or parents who have a child under 12 months old, and have French as one of the languages spoken in their home. The package contains lots of information, as well as some “goodies” (including a CD of French songs and a baby book in French). Some of the resources included are geared specifically to families where only one parent is a Francophone.
