All Day Lego Play:

Offers free books for all ages to borrow and bring back or keep and treasure. Locations include:

English practice group for parents:
The English as a Second Language Settlement Assistance Program offers child-friendly English practice groups for families with children 6 months to 5 years old. The group meets once a week from late September to June. No cost. Contact Leanne Humphreys: [email protected] / 250-837-4235 ext. 6502.
Family Craft Day:
Offered by Okanagan Regional Library on the first Saturday of each month, 10;30-4:30 at the library (605 Campbell Ave). Call 250-837-5095 for more information.
Family Night Out :
Is an evening program for families with children of all ages. Family activities, Mother Goose circle time, family games, storytelling and multi-age group activities are all part of this fun time together. A light evening meal will be provided. Leap Land
Free drop-in Indoor Playground for young children. Leap Land is located in Room 125 at the Early Years Centre (1001 Mackenzie Ave) It is a place to move, play and learn.

PACT (Parents and Community Together):
This drop-in group offers support to parents and caregivers of young children in an informal, unstructured setting. There is opportunity for parents and caregivers to have a cup of coffee while connecting with each other, for parents and children to play in a safe and inviting space, and to have a nutritious snack. Monday and Thursday 9:30am-12:00pm, 314-2nd St E. Call Community Connections at 250-837-2920 for information.
Parent-Child Mother Goose Program:
Join us for a chance to share rhymes, songs, stories and giggles with your infants and young children! Playing with language is key to early learning. This program is also an excellent chance to meet other parents! Don’t let the name Mother Goose mislead you—Dads and other family members are welcome too! Parks to Go is on the move to explore a new park with families each week in July and August! Thursdays, 10:00-12:00. Join us for play, crafts, games, light snack, circle time and a weekly story adventure walk! For information call 250-805-2305. A fun playgroup in the park during the summer months. Open to the community and free of charge. Location: Queen Elizabeth Park

Fun take-home kits to borrow and discover the magic of imagination. Kits include a book and engaging activities for families to explore together.
