Connecting community through culture and friendship

The purpose of the Aboriginal Friendship Society is to raise public awareness, increase knowledge of and support for Aboriginal people, heritage and culture within our community.  We act in friendship and are open to all people supportive of Aboriginal perspectives.

The Revelstoke Early Childhood Development Committee works with community partners and early years service providers to identify workshops, resources and practices that assist in raising awareness about reconciliation and indigenous cultures.  Our intent is to provide opportunities to share, discuss, celebrate and learn about indigenous cultures in Canada.

We extend our deepest appreciation to the Aboriginal Friendship Society of Revelstoke and School District 19 Aboriginal Education for helping us learn, share and connect.
